SUMMARY:June 2024 Obedience Seminar-Maureen Schulz
DESCRIPTION:Golden Retriever Club of Illinois Presents: \nMaureen Schulz \nProblem Solving Your Obedience Dog \n  \nMaureen Schultz is a second generation dog trainer\, who has experience with a number of breeds and venues. While obedience work is Maureen’s “first love”\, she has also been successful in agility\, rally\, and nosework. Maureen has earned numerous OTCH as well as RACH titles on her own dogs as well as coached a number of students in achieving these titles  on their own dogs. Maureen is a gifted instructor who brings her love of the sport\, dogs\, learning\, and vast experience to each training session she conducts. This seminar is designed for you if you have any interest in the sport of obedience\, have any thoughts that obedience is “boring”\, or simply want to gain a better relationship with your canine partner in a fun\, energetic\, engaging manner. Maureen will be focusing on addressing each of the working team’s “problem areas”. and developing a plan to assist in addressing these in their personal training. \nThe Problem Solving Your Obedience Dog seminar is a chance for all levels of dogs and handlers to bring challenges they are having in their training and to get help with techniques to work through these challenges. Please come with something specific you would like help with. Teams will have several times in the ring individually to work on their specific issue(s). In order to provide individualized attention to each working spot participant\, working spots are limited to 10 for this seminar. Auditing spots will be limited to 10 as well.
